How Do I Perform an Advanced Search to Search for my Events or Tasks?

The advanced search functionality is available in all views of the calendar.

To use the advanced search functionality for events, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the magnifying glass icon in the search text area on the right hand corner of the calendar main window:

    A drop-down search list with the following options is presented:

    • Title

    • Location

    • Type

    • Description/Notes

    • Attendees

    • Organizer

    • All Attributes

    • Advanced Search

  2. Select Advanced Search.

    The Advanced Search interface is shown in a new tab.

  3. From the Search Calendar drop-down list, select the calendar that you want to search.

  4. Do any of the following:

    • From the In list, specify the type of item for which you want to search:

      • Events and Tasks

      • Events Only

      • Tasks Only

    • From the Search list, specify the attribute for which you want to search:

      • All Attributes

      • Title

      • Location

      • Attendees

      • Organizer

    • From the Date Range field, specify a range of dates in which to search.

    • In the Search For field, enter the text for which you want to search.

  5. Tap Search.
